Found a 10' x 12' wide abyss, about 50 feet deep, Phil Zink and I covered it with logs. Probably full of pirate gold.

I heard on the radio that 51 percent of French Catholics don't believe in God. Huh? Maybe it was only 26 percent.
Other weird news: a 29-year-old sex offender attempted to enroll in a local grade school(and 3 other unnamed schools in the past) and (possibly, I heard this part on the radio, may have misheard) attended it for 1 day, apparently undetected, he's under arrest. (?) Middle schools generally house 10-12 year olds.

79 BILLION dollars a year in fees and charges.  20 percent of sub-prime loans will go into foreclosure this year.

What, I wonder, would constitute a 'win' in Iraq? A country strong enough to conquer Iran for us? Or peaceful enough to permit
full oil production?

I put a wooden box over the round gas heater vent, and made a stopper out of blue styrofoam because we couldn't get the
pilot light lit, before we used a shower cap and a rubber band to cover it. Then all of a sudden the gas flame just went out completely
after a minute or so. Angela thought it was the box making the wind currents weird.  I had a lot of time and energy and ego (brilliant idea) invested in my box, should I CUT AND RUN (get rid of my wonderful box and make the heater work again) or STAY AND LOSE (keep the box on and have unlit gas fill the house).  LET'S GET AN OPINION FROM LAURA BUSH, what does she think? The box went, still can't figure why
it suddenly made the flame go out after 6 months.
